Many of our followers have asked the question as to why my business partner and I decided to get involved in internet marketing and how it all began. So here is a little bit about us and how our partnership came to fruition.
When Hugh and I met we were both in the construction industry. Hugh worked for major fortune 100 companies building sales teams and running organizations for the last 25 years and for the last 8 years he was in the construction industry working for one of the largest home builders in America. As for me, I too was in construction for the last 30 years, but I worked in the field building homes. In the beginning of 2009 we both found ourselves in a depressed economy where home sales began to plummet and both large and small homebuilders began to either reduce their workforce or like many companies, close their doors all together. It was due to this downturn that we both found ourselves looking for our next opportunity, but something that would hopefully be “recession proof” instead of going back to work for “corporate America” where we’d have no control over our own destiny. That is when we met on-line as we were working to build our own home-based business with the ultimate goal to gain flexibility in our days and also to be able to enjoy our families and a good income at the same time!
We continued to cross paths on the internet and eventually we learned that we had a common bond … we were both devout Christians. It became clear that it was time for us to join forces as we believed that “two minds are better than one.” We also believed that our purpose in this business was not only to provide for our families, but to share our success stories with people attempting to build their own home-based business and break into the internet world. Simply put, we agreed that life is too short to live selfishly and that it wasn’t just about us, but rather our goal was to help others to realize their dreams and succeed in the pursuit to an on-line career whereby they could provide for their families too, but with limited to no struggles in launching their online business.
After joining forces we were blessed to run into a few strong mentors who ran extremely successful businesses. They coached us how to look for the right programs and how to properly market those businesses. As with anything in life, you need to invest time and yes, money too, but we truly began to see the tides turn and we gratefully state that we look forward to what our future holds for our business as well as helping others build a wonderful home-based business and career!

If you ever have any questions, feel free to contact me direct as it is important to be fully informed prior to joining any business. In fact, here is your 1st tip in starting a home-based business … if you feel you’ve found a good product to bring into your business, but cannot speak directly with either the creator of the business or someone who can prove their success in that online business, do yourself a favor and DON’T DO IT! Bottom line is that if you struggle reaching someone prior to joining their team, it won’t get any easier … especially if you put money up front!
